Random Reads (8)

Random Reads is monthly meme hosted by I'm Loving Books.

Each month you get a random number generator to pick one of your reads for the month. I'll be using my Goodreads to-read list and random.org to pick my book. The only way I won't read the book it gives me is if I get one of the books off of the Top 100 Novels list, since that is another challenge that I'm working through seperately.

It's been a long time since I've done a Random Reads. I love this meme but have just been overwhelmed lately with review books to read. I went a bit crazy on NetGalley for a while. So, I'm all caught up, I only have four to read for November! Three which I don't even have yet. I am planning on doing NaNoWriMo this month, but I can't write while my daughter is up so I'll be reading when I can then.

This month I'm going to pick from my books that I own, just so I have it on hand. So I'll be counting what I have that I need to read. If I get a series book, I'll be reading the first one, or whichever one it is that I'm on.

So for this months Random Read, I got:

Which happens to be:

I've actually been looking forward to reading this one for a long time, so hopefully I'll like it!

  2. I think that the world and characters are amazing, but the execution and plotline are horrid. I read up to book 5 hoping that it would get better. I really wanted to love it - so much, but it just wasn't up to par with the writing nowadays.

We are now an Award free blog. We love getting them and appreciate that you thought of us, but we really don't have the time to commit for the requirements of getting them.
